The movie 21

I think this movie is an adaptation of the book "Bringing Down the House" by Ben Mezrich. I could've sworn all or most of the kids that took part in the blackjack club were Asian. It was an essentiall part of their success and enhanced their ability to go undetected for so long. What happened? Why does Hollywood feel it's necessary to change out all the roles?

Nobody wants to watch a movie with an all asian cast, unless it's called Joy Luck Club. Also, most asians are either in a lab somewhere or going to med school.

they weren't all Asian

yes, it's loosely based Mezrich's book, as well as other MIT teams from the 80's and 90's which had all types of people

it happens all the time. in the movie pearl harbor, they actually used japanese actors as the pilots who bombed pearl harbor.
i can understand not getting actual germans, but at least use caucasians.

that was damn funny

and yes, it's loosely based on what really happened. Watch the movie, then comapre it with the book. I'll say it again, it's loosely based on what really happened.
