I'm really liking this ad campaign from Dos Equis (even if their beer is undrinkable!). Some great lines and the guy just nails it. Anyone else?

Undrinkable? Are you out of your mind? Both the amber and the special lager are excellent beers.

i can't drink it anymore. i've tried and tried over the years because so many of my friends drink it. i've decided that i shouldn't have to try that hard. i also question how much some of my friends like it, considering the amount of lime they've got goin on in there!

I, too, think the campaign is great. I haven't seen it in awhile and thought it was dead. Glad to hear it's back.

It was an interesting contrast to the terrible Tecate ads last summer with the forced accents and dull witted characters.

here i go derailing my own thread, but i usually only get a mexican beeri if i'm drinking/making a michilada.

Best ad campaign in a while.

P.S. I have a friend who thinks Dos Equis is undrinkable. His beer of choice is Bud Light in a can.

i think the NFL'ers are going to have a problem with all the fruit you're bringing to the table, stuck

This will be a complete hijak of this thread... but whatever.

I have a real problem with people telling me the lighter beers like XX are for amateurs and heavy german beers are for real beer drinkers. If you've lived in Texas your whole life you've grown to realize that after spending a long hot summer afternoon mowing your lawn... nothing goes down better than a cold frosty mug of corona or XX with a squeeze of lime. I try and I just can't handle drinking a thick glass of beer when it is warm outside. It just doesn't feel natural. And for those that haven't tried a Sunshine Wheat with a squeeze of orange... you are missing out.

OK... I'm off my soapbox.
