The Mooch is out per NYT!

Fake news or real? Per thehill.com, the NYT is reporting that the Mooch is out after only 10 days.

This could be General Kelly's influence already. If so, I'd say this is a positive sign for this administration in trying to curtail the drama. The next step would be to take Trump's phone away.

Good grief. What a circus.

What chaos? This is what "winning" looks like. ;)

Here is what CNN is saying:
A White House official said Kelly wanted Scaramucci removed from his new role as the communications director because he did not think he was disciplined and had burned his credibility.

I think we could all agree with this passage. The Mooch was a joke in that role.

The Mooch was funny at times, but the guy wasn't a serious adult and wasn't the right guy for the job if you want a remotely effective White House.

More Kelly, less Mooch.

On National Review Online there is a very interesting article by Kevin Williamson (who is from Lubbock or Amarillo, forget which and love both) about Trump and Scar and discussing Mamet's play/movie Glengary Glen Ross and the characters in it.

He suggests Trump wants to be Blake, the character played by Alec Baldwin, who is a classic Alpha male in the film. But he is really Shelley Levene, as played by Jack Lemmon. The irony is that instead of being the character played by Baldwin, he is played by Baldwin as a fool on SNL.

Williamson and the rest of the NRO bunch detest Trump and don't consider him to be a conservative at all and they eviscerate him at every turn. This turn is very good if you don't care for Trump.

He should have been fired after the first day. You have to wonder how Trump comes about making some of the personnel decisions.

I think it's a good thing for those that care more for the office of POTUS than the person sitting in the seat. I'm hoping the adults have finally arrived, even if that means they are more effective in pushing an cogent agenda.

Can Trump succumb to Kelly? That's essentially what it will take. My money is that this works for the short term but eventually Trump's true temperament emerges again.

Trump has been more socially conservative than most expected. Where's the apology from the right?

did his wife really leave him over taking this job?

Her lawyer called out Scaramucci's "naked ambition" as a reason cited for the divorce. The same lawyer publicly denied that her feelings for Trump factored in. I can only imagine his failure to see his new son until 4 days after the birth and the text he reportedly sent his wife went over like a lead balloon.

Sad. He'd rather publicly kiss Trump's *** (with some foul language mixed in) than see his own son born. That says a lot about him.

Hopefully Kelly will bring some discipline and get things organized. According to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, everybody, even Ivanka and Kushner, go through Kelly to get to Trump about things governmental. We'll see if that holds up.

Seven months in, there's lots of appointments and nominations that have gone begging for Fed. Judges and other positions. I heard that the head of the Office of Personnel Management is still an Obama appointee.

I was listening to a national radio talk show and they had a guy on who'd written a book about WH Staffs going back to Roosevelt. He said Trump's was the most disorganized and chaotic he'd ever seen. Let's hope Kelly is a miracle worker.

"Looking forward to serving alongside John Kelly as we work for the American people. General Kelly is a true American hero."----perhaps just more imprecise language.

Giving credit where it's due, the narcissism of this POTUS is epic. Clearly he can't even stomach the perception that anyone is "managing" him.

I'm gonna miss the mooch! He started out so well.

How can POTUS not see that issuing policy via twitter like he did with the transgender thing is poor management?

Conspiracy folks think that the transgender tweet and the mooch in general were a diversion for the MSM to keep them from looking too closely at the Maginsky Act guy Browder who testified before Congress late last week. I think that's a tin foil thing there.

If it was a distraction attempt it would have been to take the focus off the Senate Healthcare vote. Remember, Trump is playing 3D Chess while everyone else is playing checkers. ;)
