The Meridian in SW Austin

I posted about a realtor in SW Austin but it looks too late. We just put a $1000 deposit on a lot in Meridian 55' with Newmark Homes. We have been doing alot of research lately and decided that is what we wanted. I was torn a bit; I like all the features that Circle C offers (pool, child center...) but in the end, the houses in Circle C are at best 10 years old and don't always have what you want. Plus, we really didn't see that many on the market in our own searches (and online).

Anyway, anyone else look at Meridian? Newmark doesn't even have a full time sales office there yet and yet they have been selling lots pretty quickly.

just signed a contract on a house in Meridian today. nice area. newmark has sold 21 of their 42 houses in the 1st part of the development already before even advertising. they don't even have a full time sales office there yet.

looks like a nice place to be from the map.

I live about 3-4 miles away. Maybe I should swing by and take a peek.

we were at the sales office signing papers for about 1.5 hours and in that time 4 groups of people came by for information.

and they aren't advertising in the paper yet.
