So, I went for the first time last night. I had a good time, but I have to admitt that I didn't think the food was such a big deal. I enjoyed the novelty of it all, but that's about it.
Is that the fondue place? My wife wasn't impressed at all and said she had probably one of the worst cheesecakes she's ever had there. It actually tasted like cheese...and not good cheese. She said she wouldn't go back.
It's like art class and dinner combined. Some people enjoy having something to do while they are eating. Mostly young girls and high school dates. The food is barely edible beyond that.
I went once here in Seattle. It was good but VASTLY overpriced and I literally smelled like cheese and grease when I left. I don't ever want to go back.
It costs a lot to go there, but some things are good. Maybe just go for a dessert-the fruit dipped in a chocolate fondue was really good. You can wear your bell bottoms, headbands, and beads, and play your Grateful Dead CD on the way over.
We went a couple of years ago, haven't gone again.
Not that amazing of a place, I went to one in Myrtle Beach, but homemade fondue, if done correctly, is a really nice business-casual atmosphere for a dinner.
