The Last Month of the Season

Well, the tough part of the schedule is over. We probably will be double digit favorites over everyone on our remaining schedule except perhaps at Colorado (tough one) and at Baylor. We shouldnt lose another game but this isnt the worry. This is the best "team" barnes has had since the TJ Ford final four team. Currently, we are playing the best basketball of the season, and the best in the country imo. The key will be keeping our edge for the rest of the season and into the tournament. We want to go into the tournament hot and not peak too early. This is my worry. We need to keep playing with an edge.

Its a legit worry. Its all about who's playing the best ball at the end. But, still need to keep our foot on the gas. That being said I'd rather have a #1 seed than #2 even though the pundits will tell you thats theres not much difference in the two.

In addition to CU, the game in Lincoln could be very tough. Actually Baylor could too if the Horns stumble and bumble around like they did for a good part of the 2nd half against Tech. Hopefully they got that out of their system.

We still have some thorny issues to work through. We play Baylor twice, and I don't why their record is mediocre, because they are loaded with talent-you know they will bring their A game against Texas, and we finish the regular season at Waco. Kansas State was actually picked to win the Big XII this year, so they must be capable of a good game, despite their problems. NU has been tough at home. If we take a night off, we could lose to some of the remaining opponents, starting tomorrow night. I don't know if you can expect a great performance every time out, but we have been witnessing it so far.

Agreed. Heavy favorites the rest of the way, and yet there are quite a few losable games ahead. And the minutes just before and after halftime vs. Tech were indeed worrisome. It's time for more of that senior leadership from Johnson, Hill, and Balbay!
