Just got through watching this movie and it was really good. Didn't hear much from it when it was in the theatres but a definate thumbs up for anyone lucking to check out a good rental this weekend. Good acting by Foxx and Cooper.
Saw it, liked it. Especially Jennifer Garner's pivotal moment in that last 1/2 hour, which actually lived up to the ad claims -- for once.
On the political front, apparently the director was disappointed that US audiences didnt buy the moral equivalence message.
And --FWIW -- from the fact check perspective, in real life, the Saudis did not allow the FBI in to investigate or even look at the crime scene after the Khobar Towers bombing. Its also probably close to impossible that the Jewish member of the FBI team with Israeli visa stamps on his passport would have ever been allowed in the country. Nor would they have allowed Garner to run around in a tight t-shirt and uncovered head while brandishing a weapon.
But this is Hollywood, and the last 1/2 of the film is a very good heart-thumping action sequence regardless.
I think he meant the last scene where Jamie Foxx and that Saudi girl were both talking about "killing them all". I thought that was kinda dumb too, but the rest of the movie was entertaining.
