Not sure if I took some acid or needed too, but this is a weird movie. Not totally bad, Tom Waits and Verne Troyer are entertaining in their weird small parts. It's very Baron Munchausenish and probably not the greatest movie for Heath Ledger to go out on.

So I wouldn't make a trip to see it, but it's worth a look online.

I won't commit to saying this was a great movie overall... but I am a fan of it. It is definitely not the normal flick hollywood tends to crank out.

It is visually stunning and, as always, Terry Gilliam tells a story with his unique vision.

Great acting. Great visual effects. It was an imaginative story told through Gilliam's eye.

I loved how Gilliam handled the missing scenes from Heath Ledger.

Also, Jude Law, Collin Farrell, and Johnny Depp all are donating their proceeds from the movie to Ledger's daughter, who was omitted from his will accidentally.

I would say it is worth seeing based on that fact alone, but it is an interesting movie based on how different it is. Jjust know what you're getting in to before you go and sit back and enjoy.
