The Howling Bear is headed to Austin

The West Oso Bears beat Corpus Christi Miller today in 3A Boy's Basketball Regional 77 to 70 and advance to the state championship tournament next week. They used to be in Sinton's district and play good basketball and all who can are encouraged to go watch them play. BEWARE OF THE HOWLING BEAR!

Another team in the 3A state tournament that is always a great team to watch is the Burkburnett Bulldogs. They might play the best team defense in the state in any classification. They beat Kennedale in the regional quarterfinals and Lubbock Estacado in the semifinals. They are probably the favorite in that tournament.
