The Hangover

It was good, but nothing was out of the ordinary other than the awesome ending photos. Making those pictures was probably the highlight of the entire shoot.

After you see stuff like Old School and 40-y-o Virgin, there's very little else they can do but twist the stories around a little bit and add some jokes. The song about what Tigers dream of was good, but the rest of the movie just made Brad Cooper seem like a douche.

It would have been downright boring without Galafianakis.

Horns11, I can appreciate your "opinion", but to be fair, your opinion is not one shared by the gigantic majority of this board or any other board where this movie is being discussed. Not sure what this says exactly, but it does kind of indicate that your taste is just a little different from the majority of posters here. To each his own, but you won't find it easy to convince many people that this movie is not really as funny as they just told you that it was.

Why the unnecessary quotation marks? I thought it was funny, but not as funny as I was expecting. To each his own.

I didn't think it was the funniest movie I've ever seen, either. It does have some moments. The kids I work with all said that they laughed their asses off from start to finish. Not so with me, or my wife. We are mid-30s, in case you're curious. It would have made a decent rental. I thought 40-YOV, Superbad, and Role Models were all funnier than this, and by a long shot.

But that's just my "opinion", Rocks.

This movie seems to be a "love it" or "hate it" kind of a movie. I haven't see it yet, but I've gotten totally different reviews from different friends. The one that gave it a bad review said that the only funny parts were the ones in the preview and that the preview totally ruined any surprises that might have made the movie a little more enjoyable for him.

Saw it yesterday and it was hilarious. Not sure if I laughed more in this one or "I love you man." I definitely want to see it again

I finally saw this movie last night, but I had an incredible bias going that prevented me from enjoying it fully. I found out that my 14 yo daughter saw it last weekend and lied to me about it (told me she saw that new Sandra Bullock movie instead). I quickly discovered the lie, and we had a talk about it. But it ruined the movie for me - every really vile curse or other heavy duty crudity brought the depressing thought that my little sweetheart was seeing this last weekend. She enjoyed it more than I did, needless to say. If she was shocked, she would be the last to admit it.

And what was up with those last two snapshots during the credits - the ones in the elevator? I could have sworn those were unvarnished blowjob shots. Did I miss something, was that a dildo? How did that get by the censors? They were only on the scrren for a second, but they left me stunned.

To get the R rating, the cock/balls engaged in sexual action have to be fake (in real life). There's no way it was Z's real dick, but it sure looked like it.

I thought it was hilarious. In fact, the only movie of recent vintage that I thought was funnier was Superbad.

I want to see The Hangover again.

I just got back from the movies. Caught the 5:30pm showing at Westgate......... Good flick, very funny but I have to admit I thought I was going to find it funnier. It was the funniest movie I have seen since probably Superbad but then again I haven't seen many funny movies since then.

Zach G. stole the show. I have watched one of those comedy movies (where they follow around the standups) maybe a year ago so I definitely liked his stuff.

Good flick but I was expecting to laugh more.... Having a 4 month old baby, I have to admit, I didn't find it too funny that they left the baby in the police car when they went to the wedding chapel. I expected something to come of that but nothing did....

I really got a kick out of Alan saying "Your language is offensive". The guy made a baby simulate masturbation, but he found a cuss word offensive.

love the review that shows how the plot from The Hangover is eerily similar to Dude Where's my car.
