Fans not into it.
Seth Rogan is the new Will Ferrell... Good second banana, can't headline a movie.

Rogen as The Green Hornet is interesting to say the least. It appears to have possibilities, but we shall see ...or not.
 
In my opinion, Ferrell is more suited to a second banana that Rogen. At least the latter has some range to his acting. I agree that Ferrell's character portrayals get tiresome, but then I have never been a big fan of the "look at me, I'm an idiot" genre.

Will Ferrell's schick is TIRED. My goodness, mix in something else here and there.

Let me guess, he'll play a cop with a traditionally straight man actor and act stupid and carry around a gun made of wood...oh wait...

We can play this game all day with actors. They've all been in clunkers for one reason or another. If you don't like Will Ferrell, that's fine, but don't pretend he's the only one to have a flop.
 
Meh, I am sick of Will Ferrell, too. But for some reason, they keep making movies with him, and people laugh when he pops up on screen for no apparent reason. So, yeah, he can headline a movie.

Back on topic...I do not think The Green Hornet looks good. Looks just like Iron Man. Why do they need to make a movie of every bit comic character, now?

im sure it made money after video, on demand, etc. especially after you include globally. no movies lose money anymore.
