The Grammys

I've watched a lot of Grammys, haven't seen many in recent years. They tend to be a mixture of entertaining and painfully staged.

I have to say tonight's is pretty damn good. Radiohead's performance just now (with the USC marching band) was amazing.

The "Rap Pack" with a pregnant M.I.A. was freakishly good. FYI, apparently M.I.A. was due to deliver today, yet performed on stage. Her outfit was frightening. I think she was trying to scare the baby out of her womb.

Finally, I don't know if I recall a more star-studded Grammy.

The old white guy who a cabinet position for the arts and his love for Obama was a bit much. Musically it was excellent!

Coldplay is the most boring band in the history of boring bands...

Dave Grohl is the luckiest guy ever... McCartney, Queen...etc???

Rap (please get me back to '89).
That Coldplay piano thing with the little rap bit was horrible.

Thank goodness the night was saved by Plant/Krauss.
