The funniest scene in TV history

I'll have to wait till I get home to see for myself, but how does it compare to the Turkey Drop on WKRP?

Hard to beat a couple of Alec Baldwin's scenes in 30 Rock. His uncut tape from a promo he did for his company and the scene in the restaurant with "The Beeper King" slew me.

Buster's bleeped out scenes in Arrested Development, Season 1 episode "Bringing Up Buster."

Michael: You know, I'm in pretty good shape. You could be eating my dust out there!
Narrator: And Buster was giving as good as he received.
Buster: Yeah, and you could be
[loooooong expletive]
Buster: that's gonna
[looooong expletive]
Buster: !
Michael: [stunned] Well, let's hope it doesn't come to that.

and

Buster: [about Lucille] It's like she gets off on being withholding.
Michael Bluth: Whoa, Buster!
Gob: Look who's ragging on the old lady!
Buster: Because I'm an uptight
[long bleep]
Buster: Buster
[long bleep]
Buster: you old horny slut!
Michael Bluth: [stunned] Nobody's going to top that.

That Seinfeld episode where Mel Torme thinks Kramer is mentally retarded gets me every time. In the classics category, I'd nominate Chuckles the Clown's funeral on the Mary Tyler Moore show.

On Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the scene in "The Gang Gets Racist" where Dennis wakes up with a dude in bed with him and he then stands up and a huge black guy walks in, slaps his ***, and says "How does that *** feel?". I could not stop laughing.

It's a skit and not a scene, perhaps, but in my opinion, the Chris Farley Chippendales skit on SNL is the single funniest thing that's ever been on television.

I'm with Nych 1. But, I think the overall funniest scene from AD was at the end of the pilot. George Michael thinks the police are after him because he kissed his cousin, Michael is pissed because he didn't get the promotion, George Sr. is yelling at his secretary to shred documents and Tobias is on a gay cruise thinking he's just acting in a protest.
The best part is when Lindsey and Lucille in a fit of panic yell at Buster to decipher a map and get the boat out of the bay and away from the cops and he replies, "well, this part is blue. It must be land."

You'd probably have to watch the scene to get anything from my post.

Gotta be near the top...

The Reverend Jim scene is indeed near the top.

But I just can't get past the greatness of the WKRP turkey drop. I still laugh so hard I cry when I watch it.

My favorite Seinfeld scene is Jerry telling George about the "dirty talk" while at the diner, and as Jerry whispers to George, he squirts the mustard out.....

if there's anything funnier than the tim conway dentist sketch, i haven't seen it. and the gone with the wind curtain scene is a close second. that show was ******* genius.

then wkrp wins, then taxi. but *******, the dentist scene wins 100%. the fact that conway departed from the script at will is what made it gold. he basically took that act and made it his own. he was truly an underrated genius. you can just see in that skit where he left the script and his co-actor out to dry. his mate totally loses his ****, because conway is so funny. that's what truly made the burnett show.

-- "The original title of this book was 'Jimmy James, Capitalist Lion Tamer' but I see now that it's... 'Jimmy James, Macho Business Donkey Wrestler'... you know what it is... I had the book translated in to Japanese then back in again into English. Macho Business Donkey Wrestler... well there you go... it's got kind of a ring to it don't it? Anyway, I wanted to read from chapter three... which is the story of my first rise to financial prominence... I had a small house of brokerage on Wall Street... many days no business come to my hut... my hut... but Jimmy has fear? A thousand times no. I never doubted myself for a minute for I knew that my monkey strong bowels were girded with strength like the loins of a dragon ribboned with fat and the opulence of buffalo... dung. ...Glorious sunset of my heart was fading. Soon the super karate monkey death car would park in my space. But Jimmy has fancy plans... and pants to match. The monkey clown horrible karate round and yummy like cute small baby chick would beat the donkey."

-- Also, it's hard to beat "Werewolf Bar Mitzvah" from 30 Rock.

-- Also, Sam on Cheers
when he was trying to become a sports reporter: A guh-guh-guh-groin injury.
