'The Eyes...' at DFF

OK. What in the world is up with the accapella rendition of the "The Eyes of Texas" at DFF? It would sound nice if everyone was in unison, but it was way off on Sat night and sounded pretty horrible.

Why don't they play the music on the speakers and everyone join in?

Although DFF was hosting the Super Regional, the NCAA says that it is a neutral site and thus cannot show any favoritism towards any one team (i.e.- playing "The Eyes of Texas" over the P.A. system).

They do play the music for regular season games. Can't do it for postseason games for the reason mentioned above, which I think is BS, but I don't make the rules.

Its too bad that the Longhorn Band couldn't have a small contingent go to the games to do that. When I was at UT, we played at a decent number of the games.
