The evolution of the women's game

good article by Gary Brown on the NCAA.org website about some potential problems facing the women's game as it grows.

Some good comments from various coaches and especially from Geno Auriemma on things that could be gained from the way the game is played overseas.

Geno may be a good basketball coach, but he's not much of a historian.

A whole lot of Europeans would dispute his claim that America invented the automobile.

Gotta say I kinda disagree with Pat Summitt about the speed of the game. Maybe it's faster than before, but it's still pretty slow. Doesn't stop me from watching and enjoying it; just my honest opinion.

Surprise that they never mentioned...

Why after 30 years is there still such a lack of female coaches?

Need for more advances in medical science and more understanding of knee injuries related to differing body structure from men.
