The Earth is Flat other Tea Party beliefs....

Hey you don't have to convince me about climate change. I recall when we actually had something resembling a winter in Austin. Now I pretty much wear shorts year round. Of course I don't get out all that much these days.

Everybody knows Al Gore proved the earth was round in 74, invented the internet shortly thereafter and finally, using his vast scientific experience, identified global warming. If only he would kept Al Jazeera TV, we would be reminded daily by him and not Rog.

When has the climate ever been static? The only constant is the continued changing of the terms in the arguments being foisted on the world by the climate scientists in search of more grants/funding.

90% of the research funding should be taken from climate scientists and put into R&D for how to live on Mars or the Moon in a egalitarian way so that the Earth can be manipulated to continue to be habitable even if Mother Nature's fury goes too far for normal existence here as we know it now.

Because being prepared by appropriate use of limited research dollars is more important than being scared by fear tactics for funding of further identification of "settled science". After all, if it is settled science, why continue the funding to continually reprove and reprove that it is settled?

Because your OP was idiotic as is much of your blather. However, why don't you do all of us and the global warming movement a favor and go off grid to save the planet?

R35, it's idiots like you who think humans can control the world's climate that make your argument laughable. Climate change will happen like it or not. It's the idiotic 500 days until climate chaos comments from your brethren that make everybody sigh and laugh at you. This has been said for decades with a different approach each time.....like the North pole will melt next year. Sooner or later the climate WILL change but mankind will be able to do NOTHING to stop it nor cause it.

The john birch group is out in full force,, exactly what I'd hoped for!! Alright bircher maroons, stay tuned!

Warming or no, I find it very amusing that global warming is a topic brought up on a day, the 16th of May, where the low was in the 50s and the high in the 80s in Austin.

Maybe flat landers have an insight that is not so apparently obvious:_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________The holographic principle suggests that, like the security chip on your credit card, there is a two-dimensional surface that contains all the information needed to describe a three-dimensional object - which in this case is our universe.

In essence, the principle claims that data containing a description of a volume of space - such as a human or a comet - could be hidden in a region of this flattened
, 'real' version of the universe.

In a black hole, for instance, all the objects that ever fall into it would be entirely contained in surface fluctuations.

This means that the objects would be stored almost as 'memory' or fragment of data rather than a physical object in existence.

In a larger sense, the theory suggests that the entire universe can be seen as a 'two-dimensional structure projected onto a cosmological horizon' - or in simpler terms, the universe we believe we inhabit is a 3D projection of a 2D alternate universe.

One may not be so sure of what they perceive about reality.
