The guy is a fan favorite on the North Side. I'm a season ticket holder in Section 40. Every home game, the guy emerges from the student section and dances the Wabash dance in the aisle next to the band. The crowd on that side of the arena loves it. He's actually got the routine down pretty good. He always gets a nice ovation. It appears that for the last Wabash dance of the season, the squad invited him out to join them. The whole Erwin center crowd got to see him this time. It's good to see some enthusiasm. I watch the kid every game. Good for him, and I'm glad the crowd liked it.
That's cool. I have seen him dance at every game I have been to this year and last year as well but didn't know who he was. Always seemed to me like he was trying to get the crowd more into the game as well but some of the crowd around him seemingly ignores him and continues reading their books they brought into the game.
What purplestatic is failing to mention is that Wabash Cannonball is KSU's unofficial/official song, with a story involving a fire behind it and everything. Their fans go nuts at DKR-Memorial every four years when the Longhorn band plays it.
It didn't look lame at all. It was a blast. I was going to give him kudos on here if there wasn't a post on him already.
That was a heck of an extension on those kicks, especially in jeans. He looked like Ray Guy out there.
