The Day That I Knew I Hated Oklahoma

This goes way back, but does anyone else remember the ou game when their band took the field for halftime and marched and marched and marched...taking up the entire halftime and LHB never got onto the field?

LHB performed their halftime show after the game. It was the day I realized just what a**holes they really were. They've never changed a minute in all these years since.

Pretty much at age 2... when my parents moved us there. Thank God it was Stillwater and I spent 7 glorious years sheltered from the suckage that is blOwU.

Throw the Switzer years in on top of that and... YEESH!!!

Pure, concentrated hatred.

OrangeRB, when did that happen? I remember something about that, but I was either told about it or I was in a beer (or men's room) line all f'n halftime.

I don't remember much about that day I knew I hated mobilhoma, but I do remember it being dark, then a bunch of light came in, a man dressed in white grabbed me and then put me in my mom's arms.

For me, it was when I it was reported that HS grades were changed for a great player in the Beaumont area so he could get into OU.

Hook 'em,

October 6, 2001, was the day I realized how much I hated OU. It was my freshman year of undergrad, and our only loss of the regular season.

The kids whose transcripts were altered were Kerry Jackson and Mike Phillips from Galveston Ball. This was probably Switzer's first violation as a head coach, though I'm sure there were numerous violations and other acts of perversion before then. Jackson was an all world athlete at Ball. I watched him play his whole career in Galveston.

I don't remember the day it started, but I do remember the day it was cemented. It was in a Dairy Queen in Muskogee and involved an approximately 1100 lb. family of four and their coon hound. In the Dairy Queen, btw, not outside of it.
