The interview was devastating. Stewart was pretty amazing in his ability to articulate the issues.

Cramer tried to be a stand-up guy and show up with a mea culpa, and ironically he became the face of the problem.

Interesting the general thinks that contributions to a political party should provide absolution for all sins. That's some real deep philosophy there.

The financial pickle should enrage people of any or no party.

First, points to Cramer for going on the show. He knew he'd get hammered and he did.

Second, the interview you saw on TV was supposedly the condensed version. There was 8 minutes they had to cut. Comedy Central has said the unedited version would be on their website today.

Very solid interview, though.

Yeah Cramer looked completely unprepared for this interview which kind of disappointed me.

I was pissed that Stewart was acting like he's the "common man" and that he's part of the group of people getting screwed by the economy....puh-leeease

.

I also was flabergasted that Stewart claimed to not know how Cramer became the face of the whole debate. That's ********. Stewart and his show picked on Cramer specifically a couple days ago showing clips of him recommending buying Bear Sterns and then a follow-up showing how the stock dipped a few days later.

I will say that I agree with Stewart's argument/complaint that there are two markets: one presented to the public and the other is what really happens behind the scenes.

with yellow journalism being the main driving force in news media today, we need more people like stewart who will watchdog the supposed-to-be watchdogs.
