The Celebrity Apprentice Final

The Celebrity Apprentice final is this Sunday. Has anyone else been following this season? It has been pretty interesting. Joan Rivers had a big run in with poker player Annie Duke when Joan felt like Annie screwed over Joans daughter Melissa and caused her to get kicked off the show. Joan threw a **** fit and called Annie Hitler. To tell the truth Joan, Annie, and Melissa have been one collosal jumble of *******.

Annie is probably the best competitor and I look for her to win in the finale against Joan Rivers. I think that they screwed Jessie James over when they made the final cut. I think that the final should have been Jessie and Annie, but I have to admit the hatred between Joan and Annie makes for a pretty interesting show.

joan and melissa have looked and acted like a couple of psycho d list celebs. joan got picked i think because it would be better for ratings since she and annie hate each other. annie has been the smartest person on the show and deserves to be there.

i met melissa rivers once down in laguna. she has huge plastic you know whats.

If you're going to call it Celebrity Apprentice, shouldn't all the contestants be celebrities?? Trump is scraping the bottom of the barrell with a Deal or No Deal Model, Joan Rivers' daughter and Khloe Kardashian.

The best part of last week's show was Pierce's interview of Brande when he asked her how does she address the perception of inferior intelligence: "let's face it, you're not the smartest tool in the shed." Speaking of tools, this one couldn't even get the metaphor right.

Annie will smoke Joan Rivers this week.

what's the history of annie and joan - did they already hate one another?

I'm pulling for Joan. Annie's jingle last weekend sucked compared to Clint Black's. It had to be rigged.

I felt bad for Jesse. He was basically kicked off because he didn't birng on his wife, Sandra Bullock. I respect Jesse for wanting to do it himself instead of leaning on his superstar wife. If Trump and Piers wanted Sandra, they should have got her to be a contestant.

Annie Duke broke the world record for saying "I" and "me" in one 2hour show. It was terrible. "I wrote a the jingle".."I beat Clint Black"..."I am the greatest"... ugh...it got old.

I cannot stand Piers. It just seemed that he still wanted to hog the spotlight in the last two episodes. The way he antgonized Jesse pissed me off. You could see it in Jesse's face he wanted to kick that pompous British ***.

As I said, I hope Joan wins. I hope that I'm as energetic and sharp at 75 as she is. She's awesome. Although, I didn't like her daughter.

Listening to Annie say I, or me this was too much for me. I am glad Joan Rivers won, at first I wanted Annie but then all of that I this or me that just drove me up a wall.

Its clear that Joan is either delusional or a pathological liar. I about

'd at her righteous indignation about making the designer quit.

Well in her defense (or it could have just been the editing), it did seem like the designer wouldn't listen to any of her suggestions, and just kept saying 'we can't do that in 12 hours'.

Last night was the only episode of the season that I watched. Joan and her daughter are a couple of grade A (word that I cannot bring myself to type)s.

joan and the donald are tight. they have lots of the same friends. there is no way joan was going to lose. annie raised 450k to joans 150 k and lost. the fix was in but thats ok, its a tv show.

Anybody think about Studio 54 during this season?

All of these poker players having all this cash, on TV, that has got to be one of the dumbest things in the world.

Ole Annie and her friends are going to be getting some visits from the IRS. I can see the IRS licking their chops right now, all of that cash and on TV?

Just something that crossed my mind, what she say......

Something to the effect, Poker players always have a ton of cash?

Herschel's friends cut checks, so did Brande's and Clints.

Rodman's friends gave $20K cash from Laker and Knicks, I wonder how many people get audited or investigated from this show?

all poker winnings from tournament play is taxed, that is where a lot of these players gat a ton of their money. of course, it doesnt include cash winnings. They live a pretty extravagant lifestyle and report some winnings. obviously a lot of it is untraceable and im sure they have a lot of safety deposit boxes with lots of cash. they also make a crap load in appearance fees, tv deals, poker site deals that are also all taxed. it would be hard for the irs to make a case against them.

It wasn't hard for them to make a case against Pete Rose for Tax evasion.

What you see on TV is a small part of what poker players do, agreed, they get paid cash for just playing in private games. Whenever you live a life of luxury and have cash stored in a safety deposit box, you are asking for trouble. 99% of the time that it is unreported income. The IRS salivates at people who pay in cash, especially if they get receipts for the chariatable donations and use them on their tax returns.

Whales in Vegas want to play with these guys in a back room, where these are cash games that never get reported to the IRS.

The point I am making is that people just don't carry stacks of tens of thousand with them.

Just like the guy who owned Studio 54 should have done, stay off TV, don't flaunt your cash, it raises Red Flags.

If the IRS wants you they will get you, I just thought it was weird that all of the non-poker players were paying in corporate checks while the poker players were paying in stacks of cash. Tony Hawk even paid in a check.

I am just saying that I think it would be hilarious if any of them were investigated by the IRS.

These guys have been known to have money for a while now with the blow-up of poker. I'm sure it's no surprise to the IRS. And from what i've read all of the major poker players are pretty straight and narrow with their taxes because they know what a fine line they walk.
