That Was NOT a Dogpile!

For those aggy on texaggy enjoying the one scintilla of satisfaction of this weekend being the seeming "dogpile" at the end of the ballgame, you are sadly mistaken.

Here's a video from the other side of the pile and it is clear that one of our boys is tripped causing a chain reaction of falling and piling that might be construed by a schemin' aggy to refute our longstanding vow to dogpile only on the hallowed ground at the University of Texas North Stadium.

6 Dogpiles and counting, aggy. Thank you for playing.

I appreciate the sentiment and time it took for you to do this but it was not necessary. You see, this is a fact and it has no bearing on them or what they will think. It only gets in the way as they saunter to their final destination, Denial.

They yearn for a return to their glory days which lasted an entire decade. A decade when they cheated profusely to win. Yet they still did not win an MNC. They, like Sooners, pretend it never happened or deny it happened when the rest of the world knows it to be true. The very ones who pretend they are honorable cheated in their mere blip on the college football radar.

They don't boo and they sell out their tackle box looking stadium. You see where these facts are going, right? It is pointless to try to explain facts to a group of people who just don't matter in the end. They are a quaint, folksy batch of people who we routinely beat like a drum. We own them on and off the field of play and they are hardly competition if you look at things in a broad view. They are an in state rival and that is it.

The irony of them harping over what they pretend is a dog pile over a team that won a regional, is at this time the top seeded team in the entire country, beat REAL Army, is overwhelming. They obsess so much.

They are nothing without us. ****, they are barely a blip with us. They need us. They are the parasite that a Remora cleanses. We are the shark, they are the chum.

Loop,

I am just proud that I have given you the platform for that well-written synopsis.

Hope Spiderag doesn't see this thread.

Agreed it was not started as a dogpile, but Belt and Green apparently thought it was one and did dogpile for a couple of seconds and got up.

Picky, picky, but, anyway who gives a flip?

Winning this regional was deserving of a dogpile IMHO. Particularly with a walk-off grand slam homerun.

I wouldn't argue with aggy whether it was or wasn't. It was deserving if it was as dogpile, and if it wasn't a dogpile, then who cares?

Who cares what aggy thinks about anything?

Wait, I just used the words "aggy" and "think" in the same sentence. My head is about to explode.

Who cares what they think;

Aggy is probably getting fitted for rings right now. After all, they did make it to the Regional tourney.
Thats huge............................for them.

Nothing wrong with expending some emotion after this weekend. What a ride! We may be "used to" Omaha but for these particular kids it is still an elusive goal.

The preseason #1 ranked team did get a come from behind 11 inning win against Wright State, so all in all, that's a pretty successful season for the Ags.

Combine the above with the fact that some players fell over while celebrating our game winning grand slam to sweep our regional and, well, that's about as good as it ever gets for Aggie. Seriously.

Was at the game last night and as someone stated, it started out because someone fell down and then others tripped over him. However, Belt did jump on it to dogpile, then I guess he realized it wasn't Omaha so he got up seconds later.

Great win by the team,, they never gave up.

It wasn't an intentional dogpile, but honestly, I would not have cared at all if it had been. Those guys left their hearts, souls, guts, and everything else on that field this weekend, and they deserve to enjoy the hell out of what they accomplished.

Aggy can talk all the **** they want about dogpiles and having an "easy" regional, but each and every one of them is secretly in awe of what this team did. I know it, and they know it.

aggy dogpiled against dallas baptist earlier this season.

It was not a dogpile, more of a puppypile, really. And not so much a pile as a small gathering. A regional puppy-gathering is what I would call it, like when puppies politely gather to exchange little yelps of satisfaction, but not quite full-blown glee as that would not be appropriate in this situation.

Dogpile, no dogpile, what does it really matter? No. We won a very emotional regional, and we got to celebrate.

If the only smack talk you have after a weekend is poking at the celebration of your biggest rival while your team's coaching staff is turning out the lights and locking the doors, that is weak and pathetic.
