..looked pretty good (all things considered) for a tall, skinny, freshman. He had a nice touch on several passes and showed a lot of poise and maturity given his lack of big game experience. I think we'll be hearing about Mr. Trickett in the years to come.. gotta love those coaches sons at quarterback

Agreed. He threw the "frozen rope" passes with a LOT of zip and precision.

Really did. I swear I remember that kid calling an audible into a positive play on his 2nd or 3rd snap.. and this in a game against the #1 team in the country. Meanwhile, I seem to recall another coaches son in burnt orange making touch passes and just creating ways to move the ball on the road in his first ever start. It's exciting to see two young and smart quarterbacks like them develop and then emerge... this is just one reason why college football is great.
