That Team Beat Kansas?

Wow. K-State doesn't look like its ever played defense, and its shot selection is absolutely terrible. Haven't seen them play, but they're not very impressive tonight.

Yeah, is anyone surprised that an intricate motion offense is tearing them up? Imagine if Tech had some athletes.

Its because the best players on that team are auditioning for the NBA scouts in attendance. It starts with Beasley and Walker and trickles all the way down, everyone is just looking to get their own.

Anyone on here think that Mason can have success guarding Beasley? It's kind of like Bowen on Nowitzki- Beasley is a big man playing outside (kind of like Durant last year). I think Mason has enough athleticism and length (wingspan is freakishly long) to give Beasley trouble. OTOH, James has the size to play with him outside and down low but I don't want him picking up fouls and riding the pine for most of the game like he did in the first half against Kansas. Thoughts on how we guard him?

They are a young team and are learning alot. Sometimes you get lucky and beat the good teams it does happen, but they are not a quality team night and night out and that is why they seem so bad. If they can keep a good core of the team next year (we all know beasley is leaving) then they will get better

Haha, say that after we beat them...that will be an amazingly tough game. Anytime you have two people that will be drafted in the top 10 in the upcoming draft, you have a chance to win (plus Beasley might be #1). We have to shut down Pullen and co. or we're done...

I have a feeling we go to KSU and they play like they did against KU. All hyped up to show off the Beasley v Durant comparison favors Beasley....to beat the other team to beat KU...

We're going to have to play lights out help defense if Beasley's on. That kid's a ******* BEAST.
