what a great show. I definitely have a greater respect and appreciation for Coach Garrido. He is damn intense! He and Coach Boom should get along great.
The miked up arguments with the umps were awesome. Augie can really string some combinations together

It always made me laugh when folks would get on here and talk about " how laid back Augie is ."
Man, that dude is wound tighter than a $2 watch.

Well, from the documentary, we learned that the statements by those in the know about how much Augie HATES to lose are certainly correct.

Hating to lose is a great motivator to try harder and do more.

Clearly, it has motivated Augie throughout his distinguished career.

I think I am going to make his rant after the loss to UT-Corpus Christi my ring tone for when work calls. Really puts focus and effort in to perspective.

I will admit to not being happy with the man when he showed up on campus. I wish something like this was available to see when he got here.

Rumor is there is a longer version without the beeps on DVD sooner or later.

Augie is the real thing. He is the Teacher who truly loves and appreciates his friends, family and his players. For Love of the Game truly fits him.

I would say the circumstances around the dismissal of the prior coach made me not want to like Augie, but he has won me over.

I agree with Sua. It is very funny to hear people talk about how laid back Augie is. The man is very intense and hates to lose. That is why he is such a great teacher of the game as well as life.

Augie is an intense person. He's laid back if you're not screwing up what he's taught you. He does have a temper...good for him and what an intense lesson for all of us.

I loved that scene where Augie told the team that he was going keep the meeting short and let's loose a happy "yeah!" and walks out or something like that...

Unique. One of a kind. A champion.

That's Augie Garrido and his documentary put an exclamation mark on all that.
