Thanks ATM

And apparently their band did the saw 'em off formation at halftime. So proud to be a part of a classy tradition in LHB. Especially proud watching the stories about the bonfire year, knowing I was on the field for that performance!

If you were not familiar with the rivalry and bought into all the ******** about A&M making this bold move to finally get out of the oppressive shadow of their overbearing, unfair rivals.....this would be all you need to know. Class vs low class. Aggie is Aggie for a reason.

Thank you to the LHB for representing with class.

I'd like to say I am aurprised at the classlessnes childish display of the aggy band but I am not..
I do wonder if the aggy band director has even a twinge of maturity at seeing how the Longhorn band chose to handle the last pferformance. did the aggy band director think, even for a secondm at calling off the idiotic segment?

it is not like the aggy band which does the same routines over and over could not have subbed one of the other bits.

aggy, you really do suck.

Clearly none of you were there.
There were multiple instances of praise, thanks, and general accolades directed towards the Longhorn Band and the University of Texas during the Aggie Band drill during halftime.
But don't let the facts mess with a good aggy sucks thread.

To piggyback on LHBRules, Boom Muschamp used to say "Your actions speak so loud I can't hear what you're saying". The OP's video of the FTAB and the cheering/laughing/giggling in the audio tell the real story.

BTW, LHBRules, S.O.B.s RULE!

Aggy delights is telling all what good sports they are, but the reality reveals something much different. Band forming sawed off horns, stands full of horns down flashers, cheap shots by players, and three years of Cart McCoy repeated over and over ad nausieum. Yeah, real paragons of sporting virtue.

Wow. That's sawing our horns off? Really? A&M has done it much better in the past when it was shaped just like our logo but with the horns curved down. Wow that formation from this year is terrible - I wouldn't have known it was supposed to be a Texas Longhorn logo if I hadn't already known.

I have nothing but praise and adoration for the excellent work that the LHB has done throughout the years. Tubaboy, I was at the Bonfire game with my family including my 2 daughters - one who was a Longhorn at the time and one who would be later - and I can truly say that was maybe the most touching moment I ever had. Talking about the LHB playing Amazing Grace and marching off to silence. Of course the Aggy Band came on doing their normal "When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again" and all their other standards. The comparision was significant, and I can't say enough about how proud the LHB made me feel to be a Longhorn.

If the Aggs want to understand what tradition should be...they could take major lessons from the LHB.

Hook'em!!!

I too was at the Bonfire Game with my then ten year old son.

After about ten minutes of "good bull" you would have thought that Mack Brown and the Texas footballl team knocked down their damned bonfire.

Rude and in our face about the whole thing all day long. There were a couple of decent aggy but they were way outnumbered.

That day along with the day my grandfather died were the two days that cemented my eternal disgust and hatred, yes hatred off aggy.
