Yes, thank you very much! We have become spoiled and expect alot, which is good and bad. All the dissapointment around here and we were still damn close to another 16 birth.
We were very inconsistent and I share the frustration, but still a good year.

Second round of the NCAA tourney in what was considered a down year. That is awesome and something I never thought would happen at Texas. We are in select company with 11 consecutive tourney appearances.

Good showing against Duke, I expected a blowout but our guys played with heart and determination. Congrats on a great year horns!!

We had a shot at beating Duke but it didn't happen for a lot of reasons. Nevertheless, I'm proud of our team!

According to my observations, for the first time this year, the faces on the players following the Duke game expressed that they were hugely let down and disappointed in the loss. I hope they remember this feeling and next year vow all year to make the wins happen. I believe they can be at least an elite eight team next year. I hope they believe it too!

The ball not bouncing our way at the end is what cost us. Down ten and coming back to tie the 2 seed with a minute left was a great effort.

From a fan's perspective, this year has undoubtedly been the toughest season to watch of the entire Rick Barnes Era. And, yet, come tournament time, our 'Horns put it together and played their best ball of the season.

Sure, beating Duke would've been nice--it would've been legendary--but the same weaknesses that plagued us all year got the best of us in the waning moments of that game. Still, I'm very proud of these players.

Pre-season, my expectations were the Sweet 16 given the amount of experience and talent we had returning.

Early season, I began wondering if an Elite Eight berth and conference championship were in the offing.

Ever since K-State, however, my hopes dipped to just getting an NCAA bid (and maybe winning the first-rounder).

It was a tough year--at times excruciating--but they finished strong and gave us plenty of reasons to look forward to November. I hope to hell Sexy Dexy stays--after three years of watching him mature and develop, I can't wait to see him DOMINATE the Big 12 in 2009-10. And with those five-star freshmen coming in--plus Lucas--the talent will be there for a deep run in the NCAAs.

I was one that thought they probably wouldn't make the dance until they beat OU. For them to not only make it, but win a game and give Duke all they could handle is more than I could have hoped for earlier in the season. Not bad at all.
