I love watching the WRC stages and competition in HIGH DEFINITION!!! What spectacular racing this is. I am watching the Spanish leg of it now. Tarmac is much different than dirt or natural track so actually knowing more than one thing comes into play.

Good stuff. If any of you have not ever watched Rally racing I suggest tuning in or taping it sometime on HD Theater.

DVR'ing every week of this.

They're showing every week of the just-completed WRC season. If you haven't been paying attn to the season, then it all comes off as new, right?

Great stuff, and sooooooo glad to finally have coverage back on U.S. tv. Finally somebody picked up the ball SPEED dropped.

Oh, and LOOP, if you like that, you'll prolly like the Isle of Man TT on Discovery HD as well.

AMAZING!

Great stuff...

I am watching that right now! I purposely did not keep up to see who won. Now the meager two points between the two makes it dramatic. Will Loeb repeat? Those cars are so awesome. I can't wait to see some F1 in HDef in my own living room now!

I really love the different camera placements and the shots they give. Even the ones right behind them or the butt view is cool. You get an idea of their movements and shifting. The one where you look up into their helmet visor gives you insight into how strong their necks have to be and the vibrations they are absorbing. The one by the leg shows riders coming up as was the case with Guy Martin coming up to pass.

I had heard for years about the TT, but had no idea how

it was until I saw this on Disc HD. These guys are truly amazing. When you think of the speeds they're traveling on THOSE roads, through towns and all, and with all the off-road stuff there is to hit, with none of the safety features a track provides, it's hard to fathom.

They keep showing Rossi standing there watching, with that sheepish "I'm just glad they haven't pushed me to try this yet" look on his face.

As for F1 in HD, there have been some rumblings that it COULD happen this year, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that. One can dream, though, right? That would truly be sweet.

Now that they've brought Canada back to the schedule, I'm thinking of making the trip this summer. I took the 2 North American dates for granted when we had them before. No more. Never been to an F1 race. I might make that trip this year 'cause you never know what Bernie's gonna do next.

Maybe take the family up for a week and explore the area.

No ****?! Where in Canada? Say Vancouver. Say Vancouver!

Toronto is good too as I have a place to stay there.

I did not scroll down far enough to see Montreal so I was flat out elated so you got your wish. I was momentarily super-duper excited.

But I have friends in Buffalo which is not far from Montreal either!

How much should a ticket cost? Too bad it is not Rally where you go out and stand somewhere. That takes balls.

Man, I wish grandstand 33 faced the track from the outside. You'd get turns going into a straightaway. Viewing long time.

Where is GA? Is that entrance to the casino or somewhere next to the track?

Now they're starting their taped delayed coverage of the new WRC season which just started last week. The preview show and Day 1 of 2010 Rally Sweden air tonight at 9:00 and 9:30 CDT. Days 2 & 3 air tomorrow night at the same times. Looks like 30 minutes devoted to each day of rallying!

Thanks Discovery, and another big

to SPEED!

Thank You, THANK You, THANK YOU, Mandingo. I had no idea it started tonight on tv. I checked this on my phone about five minutes ago and got to my DVR in time.

Kimi R. on the circuit full time and the Yank, Block.

Mexico? They are racing in Mexico? I really need to pay better attention because with more notice I could have gone. I am so stoked.

They are hauling *** on ice and snow. 67 mph may seem slow when you talk racing but considering the terrain and conditions they are on they are flat out blazing.

Gorgeous scenery but freeeeeezing. Kimi's voice always cracks me up.

Watching my DVR of Aussie V8 Supercars at Adelaide right now. Great stuff. LOTS of action.

You guys should see this.

...and, just found "Truth in 24" free at Audi.com.The Link

Great documentary. Made by the crew that makes NFL Films. This was actually a movie release at one point. I saw it on iTunes.

I dowloaded truth in 24 from itunes and just watched it. very good documentary, worth checking out.
