hiusache - that's generally about how I feel about early-season "we lost a game, fire the coach" stuff, but this year seems different because.
1) Three straight games we've looked like a really poorly-coached team whose problems are mostly due to bungling things unforced by the opposition, or not giving full effort. It wasn't like Ohio State 2006, West Virginia 2012, or even Oklahoma in 2017 where we played pretty well and just lost to a good team who also played well. Tech, TCU, and Oklahoma all played poorly against us for the most part.
2) Everything was set up for us this year. Senior QB, 15 returning starters, finally not a young team (for only like the 3rd time in 11 years), Oklahoma's best guys from last year almost all graduated, suspended, opting out, or hurt and looking like it might be easily one of their three weakest teams since before Bob Stoops. Entire conference just about having a down year. If we can't do it this year, we aren't likely to do it next year either.
3) The way he doesn't seem to be honest about the problems, continually saying there are no issues in practice or in the locker room. Clearly, there are. This is like whizzing on our heads and telling us that it's rain.
