With the Bedlam Series entrenched, I serously doubt that anyone would sponsor a year-long 'competition' between Texas and OU. The magnet is intra-state, long-term 'rivalries'.
And, it might be hard to find enough sports in which both schools participate to sustain a point system of any real consequence. On that score, TCU probably comes the closest of any other school in the conference.
Living in Dallas, I'm really looking forward to seeing the Horns compete at TCU; and with a daughter who went to TCU, also looking forward to more games in Austin.
How about a four-way inter-sport competition between Texas, Texas Tech, Baylor, and TCU to determine the Champion of Texas? The Aggies are excluded, of course.
How about a competition to see who beats ATM the most and by the widest margins during each academic year..................assuming any school wants to play them.
Agree with NBHorn7. However if we must have some (silly) specific competition sponsored by State Farm, allow aggy to compete and calculate points based on wins among Texas, TCU, Baylor, Tech and aggy. A win amongst any of those time gets you a point. Not our problem if aggy cant schedule any of the qualifying teams and ends each year with zero points.
