Texas wins Director's Cup breaking over two decade long streak by Stanford

three...two...one....

How did aggy and OU do this year in the directors cup?
#1 Texas @ 1,252 points
#19 Aggy @ 846 points
#24 OU @ 775 points

Interestingly or oddly, I can not find football on the scoring chart.

UT Arlington finished 287th with a total of 13 points. WEAK!

If you have enough sports that qualify for points then you only count the top 19 performing ones and because Texas had higher point totals from other sports, football ended up not being one that Texas needed to use. Look at Bama's total they got points for being CFP champions and aggy got points for their number four finish.

So we had 19 sports out point football? That's enough to get Tommy fired.

The chart I saw at the website shows the tabulation only for the spring sports. Note there were columns on the far right that summarized winter and fall sports.

Something that makes that even more impressive is Stanford fields teams in 36 NCAA sports. Texas only fields 18. Did they change the scoring method?

Football was used.

We scored in the four mandatory sports and 13 of the remaining 15 slots.
