Texas vs Stanford ...

History. Tradition. Texas vs Stanford is what college baseball is all about. Can't wait for this afternoon.

Some of my fondest recent memories of Texas baseball include the 2 wins vs Stanford in the '02 CWS (Street, Ontiveros, Moss, Quintanilla, Majewski) ... and my darkest, watching Stanford win the '06 Austin Regional after beating us in the winner's bracket. Sad, sad day. Marked my first trip to Omaha without the Horns being there.

Man, that story from the Stanford paper was just awful. It was almost unreadable it was written so horribly. I would expect more from a school like Stanford.

Ok, so I was at the game today, and Hook'em was walking around in the stands patting people on the back and such. He walked up to one family in the stands, with a mother holding her child who was presumably asleep. At this point the mother woke the child up saying "look at the horseeee!" I have never wanted to slap the crap out of someone for such stupidity in my life.

Woods pitched an awesome game. Russel looked awful all game. Their pitcher was struggling, but he made Kyle look silly... or rather Kyle did it to himself. Hope he breaks out of his slump. Oh... and the wind sucked.
