Another great Texas crowd tonight. Attendance over 4000. Purdue says the crowd didn't affect them. Who are you kidding Purdue? You were up by 6 in set 4 when the crowd kicked in. At end game, Texas closed from down 3 or 4. Then each team fought off the other's match point. Texas won that battle and the match. You are awesome Texas Crowd!!

We would have preferred to beat you at full strength, but remember we lost four of our players: Webster, Arenas, Yogi and Bannister. Perhaps we will meet next year with both teams at full strength. Untill then kudos to your team and players for making it to the elite eight. You acquitted yourselves admirably throughout the tournament.

There were some monster rallies in this match and Purdue won most of them. In the end, Texas found a way to avoid going to set 5. Amazing finish ladies. Sad farewells from Gregory Gym to Juliann, Jennifer, and Lauren. We're so proud of our seniors and the whole team.

Got the last two GA tixs last night and enjoyed watching the girls fight through that difficult 4th Set. GREAT win and congratulations to our Team on making the Final 4 for the 3rd year in a row. Sweet.

I attended my first volleyball game ever last night. The students were making life miserable for Purdue after the first set loss. The crowd was absolutely crazy most of the night. The team was NOT gonna let Purdue win last night period. I am officially a fan.

Now if I could just figure out how to upload my pic of The Eyes of Texas from my phone.

By the way, it took me a good half hour to get to my car and off campus but the tower never lit up orange. Why?

The orange top of the tower only lights orange for regular season football victories or bowl game victories.

The whole tower lights orange only after a Texas atm football victory or a conference championship.

It lights completely orange with the "1" after national championships.

The only way volleyball will get it lit is if it wins the national championship.
