Texas vs OK State - tickets

Greetings Horns fans,

Me and 2 buddies will be coming down from Minnesota for the Texas vs OKState game and had ticket questions.

Better to buy on stubhub or buy on the stadium grounds? Looks like a bunch of options exist online but wanted to get word from those who go to games. Minnesota has a bye that week so we figured would come check out a Big XII game. Last year we went down to LSU for a game so it is fun that you both play this coming week.

It all depends on your personality, want the tics in hand or pressure of last minute? But I’m certain there will be sellers at game.

Preference is tickets in hand....just wasn't sure of the availability around the stadium prior. Every place is unique in those aspects.

There will be scalpers just off campus. Get there early for parking purposes unless you're staying downtown. The guys selling are found working the crowds usually from 15th north to MLK Blvd if you walk down San Jacinto toward campus. Several will be outside Scholz's Garten near the corner of San Jac and 17th Street. Have fun!

If you are a tix in hand type then go to Texas Sports and buy now single game tix for $95 each in 104 or 106 and enjoy the game!

There will be a lot of tickets available both outside the stadium and via Craigslist. Season ticket holders, etc, that get stuck holding extra tickets are aware of their plunging value and want to get out from under them. Do not go to a scalper or to a ticket site for this game.

By noon on Saturday there were good seats available for $35-50 on Craigslist for La Tech. We held the same chair back donor season tickets for 38 years and even after Mack created a frenzy at the box office with great teams (and tee shirt fans), even very good tickets weren't always easy to sell when we had extras. It got to the point where I would just go to the Band Hall, find someone in charge and give them the tickets to give to a band parent.

Thanks for all the advice...should have hopped on tickets from the UT Website a few weeks ago but couldn't get agreement from my group on where they wanted to sit.

Was bouncing between the Texas-LSU game and the Minnesota-Fresno game...sorry to see you guys lose that one.

Looks like craigslist just has ticket sites with only a few random tickets out there for sale. Anyone know of folks looking to unload 3 tickets for the OSU game? I know 3 is a hard number...one of our buddies was unable to make it down with us from Minnesota.

Stubhub has plenty for sale under $95 and 50yl tix in 105UDW for $125

Texas Sports has sets of 3 available in 103 and 106 for $95 each.

imo there will be plenty available under $70 by game week.
