This is the worst video production in the Big 12.
One camera behind home plate through a chain
link fence.

Hopefully the cameras for tomorrow's televised game
on Fox Midwest are up and they can use those.

With Aggy playing Tech at home this weekend we
need a sweep over an average at best Missouri team
that just lost a series to horrible Tech.

Texas vs. OU

Softball link for those interested, starts at 7pm.
 
Texas down in order.
French in his new Friday starter role.

Okie St. vs. OU is on Fox Southwest at 7pm.
 
Felts singles, Silver sac bunts him to 2nd.
Etier doubles him home then steals third.
Steinhagen K's, Marlow walks, but Maitland pops out.

Texas leads 1-0 in the bottom the 2nd.
Stranded a run there when contact would have
scored him.
 
French gives up a one out walk, a little dribbler to
third moves him to 2nd.

Weis made a bare handed play on the ball and the
ump called him out, Mizzou coach our to argue.
It was close, but who knows with this crappy feed.
No replays either.

A fly ball to left ends the inning.
Texas leads 1-0 after 2 complete.
 
Weis with a one out single, then Walsh blasts a
long homer to left.

Texas leads now 3-0. Pitcher misplays Felts bunt
to reach first. Coach out to talk to pitcher.
 
Silver bloops a single to right center, but then
Etier hits into a 1-6-3 double play to end the
inning.

Texas leads 3-0 to the bottom of the 3rd.
 
Sorry about that had a brief power outage.
I know that French got 6-4-3 double play to
get out of the 4th inning.

Texas leads 3-0 after 4 innings.
 
Walsh walks with two outs and steals 2nd.
Felts delivers a big run with a double to the
left field gap.

Now Silver singles to right to score Felts.
Texas leads 5-0.

Etier grounds out and to the bottom of the
5th inning Texas leads now 5-0.
 
Missouri gets a lead off triple for their first hit of the
game.

Next hitter strikes out, then a walk and a conference
on the mound and the trainer is coming out to
check on French for some reason.

Milner is coming in to pitch. Sure hope French
isn't hurt. That's all we need is less arms.
 
They had a lead off triple which was really a misplayed double, then a walk , and then the injury. Hoby comes in and balks in the run.

Lusson replaces Steinhagen at DH and grounds out.
Marlow walks, then moves to 2nd as Maitland tries
to bunt for a hit, but is thrown out.

Payton flies out and to the bottom of the 6th
Texas leads 5-1.
 
Milner walks the lead off man, then a double scores
him.

A fly out moves him to third, and a ground out
scores him. Fly out ends the inning.

After six complete Texas leads now 5-3.
 
Texas goes in order and at stretch time it's
Texas leading 5-3.

Need to score more or we may need Knebel
in this game.
 
Milner gives up a lead off double, then they bunt
him up to third.

Milner is struggling tonight. Then a ground ball
to Eiteir and he falls down for his second error
of the game, the run scores.

The next hitter K's and now here comes Knebel
in with the score Texas leading 5-4.

French was pitching well, hope it was just a blister,
we are burning a lot of pitching now. Got to win this game.
 
A pick off attempt by Knebel goes wild and the
runner moves all the way to third.

Knebel goes 3-0 on the next hitter then comes
back to K him.

After 7 complete now Texas leads 5-4.
Really need to add on some now.
 
A two out error on the third baseman and a Marlow
single have runners on 1st and 2nd.

Pitching change for Missouri.
Need a clutch hit here to score.

Texas leads OU 1-0 in the 4th in Softball.
 
Maitland walks to load the bases and Payton is
hit by a pitch to score a run.

Weis fliess out to end the inning.
Texas leads now 6-4 to the bottom of the 8th
 
Knebel gets a much needed quick inning retiring
the side in order.

To the 9th with Texas leading 6-4.
 
Walsh K's and Felts grounds to deep short.
A high throw and a tag retires Felts, who goes
down injured.

Felts finally gets up and looks like he hurt his
shoulder. I think he will be ok.
Silver walks, but Etier K's.

To the bottom of the ninth Texas leads 6-4.
Time for Knebel to wrap this up hopefully.
 
Knebel gives up two infield singles, but gets out
of it without any damage.

Texas wins 6-4! I don't think he will be starting any
games this series, but you never know


In Norman Texas Softball leads now 2-0 in
the top of the 6th.
 
OSU behind Heany shuts out OU 3-0.
OSU trying to take OU's place in a regional
somewhere.

Aggy beats Tech 4-2.

So the three teams battling it out for
second in the conference all win.
