Texas (16-8; 5-8) will host KSU (15-9; 5-8) on Wednesday. Horns will be looking to even the season series after suffering a 66-57 loss in Manhattan two weeks ago on Feb. 04, 2015. Texas will be trying to win their second Big 12 game in a row, a feat they last completed in their first two league games. The Wildcats will be looking to snap back into the win column after suffering an OT loss to Tech on Sunday, 74-68. Horns hold a 15-14 edge in the series. The loss this season broke a two game winning streak for the Horns over the Wildcats. With the possibility that all three teams ahead in the standings at 6-7 could lose, a win could move the winner into a tie for third place in the league. KSU is 1-5 on the road and Texas is 4-2 at home.
Brianna Lewis (# 22, 6-5 Soph. F) and Ashia Woods (# 23, 5-10 Sr. G) are the leading scorers for the Wildcats at 12.0 ppg and 11.2 ppg , respectively. Haley Texada (# 1, 5-6 Sr. G), one of two Texans on the KSU roster, adds 9.5 ppg while Kindred Wesemann (# 24, 5-6 Soph. G) contributes 9.4 ppg.
