Geez, you guys are talking like we've never won a baseball game before or anything... I think the Horns are playing much better than when we went 0-2-1 against KSU in Austin. Plus the baseball gods have to be on our side this time around.

We are being a bit facetious but it was bad for morale to see K-State's anti-Texas voodoo carry over from Basketball and Football to actually bite us in Baseball this year.

But we shall have our vengeance in this lifetime or the next.

K-State is not any different from the Tech's and A&M's. They will win from time to time because of luck, because of hatred, etc.

We lost to them in Manhattan in Football because of a freak accident.

Losing to them at home was just inexplicable.....we weren't prepared or something.

Basketball......we just didn't perform.

Baseball.....they have an excellent pitcher and we deserved to lose the series the way we were playing.

WE Ranked higher in Baseball

Bottom line.....

WE'RE TEXAS!!!!!! Schools want to beat us at all cost. I remember one year we couldn't beat Baylor in ANY sport and they were terrible.

It happens. No way would I trade TEXAS for KSU.

We don't have the Big 12 titles that OU has, but overall as an athletic department, NO ONE in the Big 12 can match the success that TEXAS has had and will continue to have. KSU can beat us in football, basketball, and baseball and we will still be a top 5 school in athletics while they will be trying to get in the top 50.
