TEXAS vs CAL NY

Why would anybody want to move from California or NY to Texas? Amazing how those two states follow the same ideology as our Presdient. Yet they fail just like our current Presdient and how our government democrats when they have the House and Senate. We have half our country voting on a person over what ideology is best for America.

Texas has always built its greatness from immigration, and many of the greatest Texans weren't born here.

But as Steinbeck said, "Texas is a State of Mind." and many of these California and New York transplants don't adopt that State of Mind. While part of that includes politics...it's more than that. Austin before the 90s, may have been "different" than her bigger sisters of Dallas and Houston. But "different" and independent thinking is as Texan as you can get.

But what Austin is now, is not a decidedly independently Texan thinking town, but a town that's becoming overdeveloped, over managed, and over run by West Coast lifestyles and sensibilities. It sure is different than any other part of Texas...because it's basically California.

I hear a lot of non-Texans, especially in NYC, saying how much they LOVE Austin, but the rest of Texas sucks. They're idiots...actually much worse than that, and unfortunately those are the kind of folks seeking cheaper land that are coming to the Hill Country.
