The talk of Baylor being weak is fine, but the talk of Baylor being weak as a rebuttal to comments on UTs better, more disciplined play today misses the point. Under TH we have historically performed poorly against supposed weaker opponents and, regardless of opponent, we just havent appeared disciplined or well-organized at times and that appears much less so today.

Other people here are taking care of dinner for me tonight, since I am stuck in this chair with this snoring dog
Cane Russo Honey Bastard Pizza - man I love those things
You guys know this one too?

That's fair. It looks like we're maxing out the effort to put them away rather than going on cruise control against a crappy team like we've done a few other times (Tulsa 2018, Kansas 2019, and Texas Tech 2020 most notably).

I really liked what I just saw. Mitchell shoved a guy and risked a needless penalty that would have given them a first down, and Graham immediately came over, pulled him back, and gave him a quick talk. That's the player to player accountability we've been missing.

Should've done it a long time ago. Thanks for the gentle nudge.

Baylor is in the same category going into this season as TT, ISU, WVa - all teams Herman had a 2-1 record against.

three categories for b12 teams under him. The above, the Kansas teams at 6-0, and the better teams in conference of TCU OU OSU. Those are the ones he has a terrible time with 3-9.

It’s not that Herman is a bad coach. But he is only 25% wins against the better teams. That, plus the 25 to 33% losses to the mid teams dooms his chances of winning conference titles.

this yeas has been exactly as per the last 3. Losses to TCU and ou, wins against TT and Baylor. If the rest of the season plays out like that (loss to osu and one of the middle teams), season record is 6-4. Not good for year 4.
