Texas vs Baylor game thread

How does a 20+ year old get hurt falling down on turf like that ? My 65 year old wife fell harder on our hardwood floor a few weeks ago and got up without anything serious..With no shoulder pads on......seriously...How did he get hurt...Nobody falling on him, and nothing really forceful. WTH ????

For those wondering, my dog woke up for halftime
Then I told her, "no band"
She looked at me, paused for a moment, then licked a body part

Holy Chit. They are showing video of short haired Willie playing Good Hearted Woman for DKR circa 1970 at halftime. Better than any LHB halftime I could have watched today.

It's only been a half....but based on all the grumbling (and rightfully so) alot of us have been doing....this team (and coaches) deserve some praise for rising above a real difficult couple weeks and playing one of the most organized, disciplined, smart and hard halves I've seen this year from them.

Fire Tom Herman.

(Now.)

I am glad we found a pass rush and a running game. Football is supposed to be physical. We looked like a pick up team until today!

still a half to go, but it will be a good win if they hold on. This Is the first must win of the Herman era.

Not sure we've played that great so much as Baylor isn't very good. But we have played smarter and tighter. Not much in the way of big blunders or destructive penalties like we've seen the previous few games.

Oh...I am wondering why targeting wasn't looked at when Sam was tackled early on in the game, and the Baylor guy came in late with the top of his head gear into Sam's helmet...
