Texas vs Baylor game thread

Hey I can't complain too much about a 70 yard gain on 2nd and 22. Not everyone has blazing speed. Ogbonnaya, for example, was pretty slow too, but he was intelligent and reliable. I believe only 1 dropped pass and 1 fumble (which we recovered) during his time at UT.

Rollouts at the goal line rarely work unless it's a bootleg where the QB is looking to run. One of the lowest percentage plays there is inside the 10.

Field is already compressed vertically, and the rollout just compresses it horizontally too. Defenses can generally cover everyone when they only have to worry about 25% of the normal space.

how about a naked bootleg getting everybody going one direction and going back the other. Then he would be wide open to run or throw.

Sam took a hard shot to the back of the head on that last run up the middle. He's not Tebow. He's a tough guy but I'll be surprised if he lasts till the last game this season. Our offensive plan doesn't include protecting it's best player.

It's pretty easy to see that we are at the level of the team we're playing against who hasn't played in 3 weeks so we are about that level
