Aren't the Swine playing in the Sugar Bowl Tuesday night? Did I miss an announcement or are they playing their baskeball game the same time as their biggest bowl game ever (or at least since the 60's)?

Yep, 8pm Tuesday night. I'm going to that vs. watching that crappy *** bowl game. Hoping that there are less Arkansas fans in the drum b/c of it too.

Pharmacists want to know!

Could this be a trap game what with Arkansas basketball having a chip on their shoulder from their fans focused on the bowl game and our guys looking forward to UConn?

If they get beat, it won't be because of some psychological factor. It'll be most likely because Arkansas got hot BTA and stayed hot, and Texas got disrupted on offense by the Arkansas defense.

But I think Texas will win.

Haha, yeah, I know. It was almost four-and-a-half minutes, I think.

But then they nailed a couple of treys and they're back up by 17 before piggy closes out the half with back-to-back buckets.

If only Lexi and Matt Hill would make their free throws and layups, this team would have the interior depth it lacks. But I ask for the moon ...

Lexi with three straight garbage-time turnovers for those who are counting.

Otherwise, what a phenomenal effort from our 'Horns tonight. I expected they would win, but ... wow ... who could've predicted that utter mudholing? Very nice.

I thought this was their best overall effort of the season. Looking forward to the UConn game.

I love me some Horns, but it is still hard to get too excited this early after last year. It was this next game that the shoes came untied last year.

Different year, Different Team,

Anybody have any idea what Brown was getting upset about? Whatever it was, Barnes didn't play him the last 10min of the game. Can't say that i missed seeing him turn the ball over some more.

Absolutely dominating performance last night.

UCONN is looking more and more like a paper tiger so this Saturday is important in terms of not getting what may later be viewed as a bad loss. I still think 10-6 in conference and 23-8 overall is acceptable but more performances like last night and 12-4/25-6 will seem more and more attainable.

Actually games like USC do happen, especially early in the season. It happens to some pretty darn good teams --- such as Michigan State who got beat like a drum in the Drum last year and then went on to the Final Four.

Nice job by Balbay - 4 points, 5 assists, 4 steals, and 0 turnovers, in just 10 minutes of playing time.

That was one sweeeeet game. Beating Arkansas anytime, anywhere, given all the games I have been to against those guys, is music to my ears. Keep it up Horns!

TT is playing like a man. Damn good for a freshman: Poise, jumping skills, touch, tenacity, polished game around the basket.

The team is a team has been mentioned before. That improvement can't be underestimated.

Will the young guys hit the wall? Texas outclassed the pigs. It was fun to watch.
