Any word on Rachael Adams? She was supposed to sign this Spring as well. The signing of Amber causes me to speculate that RuthAnn Feist will not be returning following her injury and surgery last year. If true, we all wish her a speedy recovery.

Great news today! Both Rachael Adams, Middle Blocker from Cincinnati and Amber Roberson, Outside hitter from San Antonio signed with Texas. When coupled with fall signees, Sydney Yogi and Michelle Kocher, this is one great recruiting class! Can't wait to see you all in Gregory Gym!!

The piece on the two new recruits on texassports.com states that Rachael Adams has a 36" verticle! You don't see this stat for women very often but is that incredible or what!?

What is Destinee's vertical? Does anyone remember?

Adams' 36" vertical is legit. I believe I heard Destinee was touching 10' 10.5" last fall. She's probably now touching 11" after training with the US National team. The 08 team will VERY physical at the net. There is potential for opponents to see 6'4" Destinee Hooker, 6'5" Lauren Paolini & 6'5" Jen Doris when facing Texas across the net. Engle setting at 6'3" is also remarkable.
