Zack Iyeyemi is a 6'9" 250 lbs Center who can grab boards, but doesn't present too much of a scoring threat.

Aside from Boothman and Lee, and possibly Iyeyemi, they don't seem to have much. And even those 3 are significantly out-talented by their Texas counterparts ...

I will not chisel in a final 4 yet, but dang that's a good team.

I love that Beard is engaging the students.
 
The team looked really good. Let's see how well they play once we get into conference. If they continue to gel, I can see a deep tourney run happening.
 
These guys play hard and play like a team. You can see they are being coached up. I'm not ready to predict how far they will go until I see how the talent matches up against the best. The real question is how many of them can play football??
 
Good:
  • 64 percent shooting as a team
  • Only 4 turnovers from the guards after 16 against ACU
  • 5 m.f. steals from Jones
  • 21-6 advantage in assists!
  • Speed
  • The way the team just comes together and supports good play
Bad:
  • Rebounding was below average. Especially allowing HBU to keep getting 2nd chances. And our lack of offensive boards, too. We'll get crushed against the Zags if this isn't improved.
  • Timmy Allen trying too hard to move the ball from a position of strength. When you have a good spot on the floor, sometimes you just need to take advantage of it. Don't try yet another pass when it's not needed.
  • Cunningham did not play well
 
To answer why the game wasn't on initially, they said during the women's game that it would be about 30 minutes between games and the women's game ran a bit late. So, LHN showed some ******** in the meantime.
