Wow ... just noticed that UTSA is apparently a pretty stout club. I was just looking over their schedule/results, not bad.

Wins over Baylor, Louisiana Lafayette, College of Charleston, 2 vs KSU ... pair of one run losses to Oral Roberts and A&M.

I'm assuming Boening gets the nod tonight. Hopefully we can feed of some of the positives from last night.

I see we are projected for the Tallahassee regional. Good things happened last time we were there.

Back to the topic, a win tonight can do wonders for the team's psyche going into this weekend.

Looks like the Starter tonight for UTSA had a very good last outing. Complete game, 4 hits 1 unearned run against Lamar. Texas Sports on the preview shows him at 0-2 with a 7.20 ERA. Not sure where they got that from.

Texassports.com now has their starter listed as (5-2) 3.59 ERA.

Proudfoot v Boening.

Also says Texas is 6-0 in games that Boening has started. Can this be correct ? Can he start every game then ?

What happened during the Tucker at bat? Torres sb looked good then they called him out. Did they call them both out because tucker got in the way?

And there was an error that should have been a second out there in that inning. When things go wrong, they just go wrong ...

Moldenhauer with a leadoff double in the bot 4th. Kyle Ks.

Leadoff double and then a WP that moved the runner, and we still cannot get him home. I cannot believe that these are our TEXAS LONGHORNS, and that it is Augie coaching them. Man, what a frustrating year.

We've lost 5 straight at home, and 8 of the last 10. 14-11 at home this year, benefiting from an 8 game win streak to start the season.

Last home win was April 2.
