Horns lead 3-0 with two outs in top of fourth. Jungmann has surrendered three hits but has 5 K's.

Taylor gets his sixth K of game to end mini threat of runner in scoring position. Headed to bottom fourth now with Horns up 3-0.

Walsh with one out triple gives Horns a threat in fourth to increase lead.

Felts grounds ball but Walsh is caught too far and is thrown out, Felts did make it to second on play but now two down with runner on second.

Loy flies out to end threat. This is a recurring problem with this team, an inability to make most of golden opportunities.

Ola Senor warrior, Friday night baseball on the computer.

Jungmann is his usual masterful self now with two outs in top of fifth.

Bunt single gives Tech runners of first and second. Then a double scores one and puts runners on second and third. I jinxed Taylor by talking about how good he was doing.

Ground out ends inning but the two out rally got Tech its first run and that run Raised Jungmann's era from 1.04 to 1.15. Yes folks that is how incredible he has been this year giving up one run actually raised his overall ERA.

Leadoff single for Techsters in sixth is followed by Taylor's eighth K of game. One on one down.

Jungmann induces a groundout inning ending double play. on to bottom of sixth horns leading 3-1. Need to get some run support here for Taylor.

some other scores:

aggy leads Baylor 2-0 in bottom of fourth
OU and Okie State just starting
KU leads Mizzou 6-1

Bottom Six

Kephart grounds out to second;
Etier flies out to center;
Silver grounds out to short.

Quick 1-2-3 for toothless offense.

Not sure how this team has won so many games with such a weak offense? I know their pitching is pretty good but a College team batting only .260 with a winning record?

One out single followed by another Double Play ends threat. Stretch time 3-1 Texas.

This team wins with phenomenal pitching. If the hitting can come around Omaha is likely, if not a first weekend upset in regionals is very possible.

Walk and SAC bunt in bottom of seventh chases the Tech starter. He had an ERA over 5 and Horns only managed 4 hits and three runs on him.

Loy promptly fouls out for second out on a 2-0 count. Montalbano up with one more chance to get a clutch hit from someone.

New pitcher McCrummen has an ERA over 8. You would think that would mean some hits but with this offense every opposing pitcher is Nolan Fricking Ryan.

Another pitcher for Tech on another ERA of almost 5.

Montalbano grounds out to second to end inning.

Headed to 8th and once again relying on Taylor to be basically perfect.

Top 8:

Leadoff single for DH is Tech's 8th hit of game they have doubled the Horns in that respect even though they trail on the socreboard.

That hit Chased Jungmann who went Seven plus innings giving up 1 run on 8 hits and being responsible for runner on first. Taylor had 8 K's and 1 walk.

Kendall Carrillo 2-0 with 1.5 ERA on to pitch for Horns.

Runner tries to steal second and is gunned down for thrd out to end 8th inning for Tech. Horns lead 3-0. Aggy is up 4-0 on Baylor in seventh so Horns must hold on to maintain share of conference lead.

Need our anemic offense to get an insurance run or four here.

Gametracker has changed its mind.

Now Shepherd reached third on fielding error and then scored when weiss singled.

Either way Horns now lead 4-1 and have runner on first with no outs.

SAC bunt moves pinch runner Maitland to second. Fourth Tech pitcher of evening now comes on, another ERA over 5.
