Connor Rowe strikes out to start the bottom of the fifth for Texas.

Etier hits sharply to short, who stabs and throws high to first. The bail sails over Etier's head, but Jordan turns briefly toward second as the ball caroms off the dugout rail and bounces back to the first baseman, who tags Etier. Umps convene and rule Jordan out. Freakish play.

Two away with Koala up. Cohl strikes out on three pitches and we're on to the sixth with Texas up, 1-0.

just as a side craig was talking about the big12 camp tournament game said something to the affect that unless there is an oklahoma team there that its pretty sparse as far as fans go. he mentioned that the last two texas big12 tournament champ. games only had about 5k people. I think it should be noted though that the big 12 champ game is only the egg that you add to the batter of our cake. the icing is an omaha championship.
