I'm unfortunately going to have to watch the live stats on CSTV's Gametracker (at the office) for today's game. I hope we look better against Okie State today than we did in our last meeting. Any thoughts/predictions on the game today?
 
I'll say we tank it.

I don't think we are a lock for a 2 seed just yet. I think we actually need to win today. Therefore, my prediction for the game today is the following...




Mudhole
 
I will be pleasantly surprised if "mudhole" is the outcome, but I think it will be very much like Sunday's game. After being at the FEC for the Nebraska game and watching OSU on TV last weekend, I don't think this team is playing at its best right now. I think this game's a toss-up.
 
I'm not sure about "mudhole" . . . maybe "rented mule" instead.

I have no idea what to expect in these Conference tournament games. We're favored by 7.5 and I don't think I'll be putting money on us. It seems like OKSt has more to play for.

I think we may win one of the games but not wear out the guys before the NCAA tourney.
I recall a few years ago we did'nt really "try" to win the trouney yet we made it to the final 4..
or am I mixing up a year
 
1) There's another post about the streaming audio feed. DeLoss sold us out to Yahoo...I'm unsure if we can get internet audio for free or not anymore anywhere else

2) I agree with an above post that our seed is not set. I think a crap effort against OSU like we had last week (at home) and losing, could potentially bring us back to a #3 seed. We must win today. And although many, including Bobby Knight, believe that these conference tournaments should all be gone with...I'd like to see the team get some momentum and confidence and finally win one of these things! We have been up, down, up and then down (Neb and Ok St as of late) this year...I want to get the defensive intensity and shot confidence back up! I want to see AJ draining everything he gets his hands on! I want to see Atchley back! I want Damion to bring down the backboard! I want to make our FREAKIN FREE THROWS! TEXAS..LET'S WIN THIS!
 
My feeling is this.

If we have the chance to move into a 1 seed by beating a Kansas, or winning out because a Memphis or Tennessee or whoever gets dumped early in their tourney, then go for it. Otherwise I say play hard, but play everybody and just let it happen as it is supposed to.

The true issue is that we (Big XII) should start our tournament a day earlier.
