Texas v. Mizzou Game Two

Horns score two on four hits in the bottom of the first and lead 2-0 in the top of second.

Hoby Milner is on mound for Horns today.

Leadoff batter RF Schmidt walked but second hitter DH Everett lined out and Schmidt was caught off bag for a double play.

Next batter 2B Garcia grounds out to to pitcher to end inning. Heading to bottom second Horns up 2-0.

2B Jordan Etier leads off and on 3-2 count flys out to left.

LF Jonathan Walsh pops out to 1B on 1-2 count

CF Paul Montalbano grounds out to third.

Horns go 1-2-3 in bottom of second.

Top Third Mizzou threatened with runners on corners and just one out but a pop out and ground out got the horns out of the inning with no damage.

First Saturday I have been home in three weeks, have missed Horns baseball.

Warrior going to have to let you take second half of game as I am on baby duty and she just woke up and doesnt understand why daddy is watching play figures on a computer screen and not playing with her. Will check in from time to time.

Missouri got 2 runs on 2 hits in the 7th inning. Top of the 8th, Texas leads 5 to 2. Carrillo came in to pitch for Texas in the 7th.

Stites is still pitching for Missouri. MVP today is Lucas Kephert, he has driven in all 5 runs.

Top the 9th. Texas 5 runs on 9 hits, Missouri 2 runs on 4 hits. No errors so far by either side. Knebel in to close it out.

Game over. 3 up and 3 down, Knebel ends the game with a K. Horns win 5 to 2, now 6 - 2 in conference, trailing only the Aggies.

Solid win for Horns. A sweep of what will probably be the last or second to last place team in the conference really is needed tomorrow.
