In a SI.com article talking about Coach McAllie's success, there is reference to Coach G.

"Obviously, we are not where we want to be. But we're closer than it looks."

Now can someone honestly agree with that statement? I'm starting to think what the Duke fans have been saying is true about putting a "spin" on things.

The game is 40 minutes so obviously, the cart is before the horse. But to lose 11 straight to Texas A&M is NOT what I had anticipated with our $1 million dollar coach.

These players should earn the right to have TEXAS on their jerseys. They need to understand that it is NOT acceptable to perform like they have for UT.

Oh well.....next year will be better......

I have been watching this program for over 25 years. I’ve seen very good teams and much worse than this season. I understand why some people are concerned. But, yes. I agree that this team is closer than it looks. There are actually a lot of positive signs, even if you have to be willing to look for them sometimes.

In order for your team to be good the players have to work hard in practices.And in the game they must perform. I have not been impress with our veterans. I am ok with C.Fussell having a off game. But I just dont see no leadership.
