We are now seeing why we used to be great in track at Texas.

All the names at the top of the events are past Horns! Carter, manzani, hardee, Richards, hooker, etc.

In a few years, all these names are going to be replaced by ATM athletes.

Pat has done an excellent job at ATM but Texas has got to put a stop to their recruiting or ATM is not going to look back anytime soon.

I am not so sure. aggy recruits for team goals which means they recruit people who will stick around for 4 years. Texas on the other hand recruits the best athletes with full knowledge that they will not stick around for 4 years, but in the end will achieve individual success.

Ryan Crouser will be an incoming freshman. Just set national high school record in discus at 237-6". He's from Oregon and throws the shot as well.

To win track meets you really need to have fast relay teams because of the points.
